Curious Space Therapy acknowledges that it sits on the traditional territories of the Piscataway and Manahoac people. Because of colonization, their lands were taken and claimed as property by European settlers. They were exposed to foreign diseases for which they had no immunity, leading to unnecessary deaths and the loss of language and culture.
